Tina’s Story
Tina S was diagnosed with Anal Cancer following a routine colonoscopy on January 17, 2025. She began treatment February 17 and completed it on March 31st. It was a hell of a ride.
Treatment included 30 pelvic radiation treatments and two weeks of chemotherapy. The 30 appts were held weekdays and we’re completed over a six week period. The chemo was administered during week 1 and week 5. This protocol has been on repeat for 20 years. It works, and despite other treatments being presented and tried, this is the protocol with the greatest success rate. Success means someone you love stays alive. That’s a good fight.
Mid-Treatment Gratitude
There wasn’t a single moment of fun in my cancer treatment. What there was though, was a very dedicated staff of medical professionals who took time with me, were kind to me.
